Can you make these cute Subway® paper origami?

So you've finished your delicious Subway® sandwich, and now the paper wrapper is empty in front of you. Sure, you could crumple it up and throw it away. Or you could turn it into a fun piece of origami! Here are 4 easy shapes to get you folding.

1. A crane

The crane is one of the oldest and most common origami shapes. Use the whole wrapper to make a large creation or tear off a smaller square and make a tiny one. We have step-by-step instructions you can follow here.

2. A butterfly

With fewer steps than the crane, the butterfly might be slightly easier to make. Once you get the hang of it, make a bunch and hang them around a room or your office cubicle as a whimsical decoration. Here are the instructions.

3. A boat

In Iceland, sandwiches are referred to as boats just as we call them subs. Why not use your sub paper to make a boat? It's an easy shape to make, and you can follow along with these instructions.

4. A cube

The cube is probably the trickiest shape of this bunch. There are lots of steps, and the folds get pretty small. But you can do it with these instructions that take you through the process.

We want to see your origami! What shapes will you make? Post your folded artwork and tag us on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.
